Q8 T 900 Education Programme
Steve Boocock, Kuwait Petroleum International Lubricants(KPIL) Marketing Manager
"At KPIL we are firm believers that investment in developing our people drives the success of our business. The Q8 T 900 Education Programme
was particularly innovative as it allowed us to embrace the latest in learning techniques delivered to our participants via the internet.
The 98% completion rate represents a great success in delivering measurable results from our investment and has served to underpin the launch of Q8
T 900 in the marketplace. Overall we very much liked the K2M approach in designing a programme structured around our business needs."

October 2005 saw the UK launch of Eco Oils, an innovative product range which has already enabled Total's mainland European customers to save at least
2% of their fuel bills. To ensure these product claims proved credible with potential UK customers, Total wanted KLD staff to have a deeper understanding
of commercial vehicle lubricants whilst applying this to promoting the Eco Oils range. Working together with Lubrizol's Knowledge 2 Market (K2M)
lubricant training services, an online classroom study programme was assembled to achieve this goal. The programme was quickly oversubscribed and proved
to be popular with participants.
Distributor manager Andrew Ward observed: "The web based delivery style of lubricants training provided by Lubrizol's K2M is perfect for the
busy distributor who cannot afford to spend time away from customers. This is another example of the extensive support we provide to our distributor partners
to ensure the success of their business".
Dick Shepherd of Bayford, one of the successful programme graduates, commented: "Even with my years of experience in the business this was a
valuable refresher. I can see particular benefits for new industry recruits".
